This 1911 Edwardian home, nestled in the picturesque Dolores Heights neighborhood of San Francisco, was reimagined to reflect our client’s desire for joy and a sense of whimsy.
We embraced pattern, color, and subtle textures throughout, creating a layered and dynamic interior that feels both playful and refined. Respecting the home’s architectural details, we preserved its historic charm while seamlessly blending in much-needed updates like a built-in closet in the primary bedroom and built-in shelves in the office.
Drawing inspiration from some of our client’s art pieces - including a mesmerizing photograph by Barry Underwood - we designed spaces that feel personal and curated.
The home now has a balance of boldness and sophistication, offering a vibrant yet inviting retreat in the heart of the city.
